It is a bit hard to explain what it does. But if you just looking at the photos above - you might think, this is normal. Any photoshop will do it right? Wrong! The amazing part is that it is enhancing video recording image that is normally not sharp to sharp (yet maintaining the video effect), best yet, without manual labour from the user.
They do mentioned that limitation of their work is still bound to the static video image - means no moving object. But hey, did a pretty good job! [Source]
