Futuristic Watch from Tokyo!
When I was reading about stuff from Japan, I came across these watches from Tokyoflash. Call it futuristic or techy, it is definitely not your normal watch. The good thing is, it is already available... and they ship it worldwide! Prices do varies depending model, the Oberon S model & the 10001001 cost ¥15,900, about AUD$170. There is also "Rogue" model - cost ¥16,900. To navigate the rogue, takes a bit of skills, but once you master it - no one can read the time but you...
Here is the "star performer" watch. One of the more expensive one at 22,000yen, however the multi-coloured LED version seems to have been sold out.
And here is the "pimp" watch. "When the button is pressed for the time it will spiral all the lights on and off then show the time. Press the button again and the day and date will be displayed. Flatshare: the modular fridge solution for shared living spaces, by Stefan Buchberger, University of Applied Arts, Vienna, Austria.For Stefan Buchberger, the idea grew out of a semester-long theme about keeping personal space clean and tidy. He decided to create Flatshare fridge because he could not stand a dirty fridge in a shared flat. "At the time, I was living in such a flat!", he said.
The fridge consists of a base station and up to four stackable modules. The modules allow each individual user to have his or her own refrigerator space and can be customized with various colorful skins as well as with add-ons like a bottle opener or a whiteboard.
Handles on the sides of the modules make them easy to transport. “If you move to new flat, you can just transport your module like a suitcase and hook it up to the base station in your new flat,” Buchberger explains.

Guopeng Liang commented, "As a member of the Internet generation myself, the inspiration for this came from everyday life. We are busy working for our dreams and don’t have a lot of time to take care of clothes, nor do we like to. But today, people store their clothes in a laundry hamper until it fills up, then carry the basket to the laundry room, wash them, come back, take them out, throw them back into the hamper, carry them to a clothesline and then hang them out. I believe that iBasket offers a much more convenient alternative."

We have seen many cool concept mobile phones with cool design, shiny plastic, but this is extremely bizzare, taking the concept of material has no bound literally. The Silver winner at the International Design Excellence Awards 2008 (IDEA) duo, Hyun Jin Yoon and Eun Hak Lee created "Maple Phone", a camera phone concept covered in thin wooden film, with touch sensitive buttons that light up through the housing when you touch the phone. Exoskeleton Wearable Motorcycle - Deus Ex Machina
Designed by Jake Loniak, who at the time studied the art center college of design in pasadena, California, which is well known for their car designs, however the new motorcycle design program is becoming just as well known. View the video here The project that is making news there is Jake Loniak’s standing motorcycle concept, he called ‘deus ex machina’. It allows riders to "wear" and control the motorcycle. It manoeuvres based on the rider’s movements, adjusting 36 pneumatic muscles. As the speed progress, the body of the rider is also lowered - making it as if riding under the bike.
“It’s like riding two skateboards at once, but stable, because the machine supports the rider’s body,” Loniak explains. These two skateboards, however, would be powered by lithium-ion batteries and ultracapacitors and capable of hitting 75 mph. “I never envisioned this as a commuter,” he says. “This is a sport bike.”
Although at this stage is only concept and computer illustration, Loniak convinced that with time and engineering work, a working prototype can be built - as the technology is already here. [Popsci & Green Car Design]

Enhanced video technique! Amazing...
It is a bit hard to explain what it does. But if you just looking at the photos above - you might think, this is normal. Any photoshop will do it right? Wrong! The amazing part is that it is enhancing video recording image that is normally not sharp to sharp (yet maintaining the video effect), best yet, without manual labour from the user.
They do mentioned that limitation of their work is still bound to the static video image - means no moving object. But hey, did a pretty good job! [Source]

Mobile Phones has becomes part of our lives, we can't live without one, or at least if you don't, someone will get it for you!Japanese has one of the most advance phones in the world. Even though their network works differently to the rest of the world, their phone design and capabilities are immaculate.
AU by KDDI in collaboration with Yamaha has produce a cool concept phone. So cool, not just it is capable of camera phone, it can also turn you to become a DJ, where you can scratch along the music. So when you are not using the phone or as a DJ, just change it to box shape and it will act as speaker box too!
